Meet Rik Reinhardt
Rik has spent his entire career in hospitality, landing his first dishwashing job at an old school East Coast lunch counter at the ripe age of eight. Climbing his way through the ranks, Rik found himself in several GM and hotel F&B leadership roles before making the jump to IT in 2006.
Currently, Rik owns his own hospitality technology consulting group, “Bearheart Hospitality”, where he focuses on simplifying operator’s engagement with IT by effectively communicating options and seamlessly implementing technical solutions to improve the operational efficiency of his clients’ businesses.

Bearheart offers the wisdom gleaned from hundreds of launches in the hotel and restaurant industry to your endeavor. Our portfolio includes initiating, refurbishing, or re-imagining a wide array of outlets, from expansive resorts and convention centers to independent cafes and delis. We recognize that each information technology project within the hospitality sector is distinct – differing in terms of their concept, brand, geographical location, proprietor, culinary head, and manager.
Meet Rik Reinhardt
Rik has spent his entire career in hospitality, landing his first dishwashing job at an old school East Coast lunch counter at the ripe age of eight. Climbing his way through the ranks, Rik found himself in several GM and hotel F&B leadership roles before making the jump to IT in 2006.
Currently, Rik owns his own hospitality technology consulting group, “Bearheart Hospitality”, where he focuses on simplifying operator’s engagement with IT by effectively communicating options and seamlessly implementing technical solutions to improve the operational efficiency of his clients’ businesses.
Rik’s expertise lies in system selection, vendor vetting, contract negotiation, budget planning, project management, and systems implementation, integrations, and configuration. He can lead everything from a small workstation deployment up to a corporate system rollout. Rik has extensive experience planning structured cabling and network topology, and is well-versed in all things PCI and security.
Rik has worked on both the vendor and property sides of the industry, and has worked with groups such as Sage Hospitality and Sage Restaurant Concepts, Host Hotels & Resorts, Pebblebrook, RLJ Lodging Trust, The Mina Group, Richard Sandoval Restaurants, Benchmark Hospitality, Steamboat Ski & Resort Corporation, NCR, Ritz-Carlton, and many more. Rik has spoken at FSTEC and has attended HITEC, FSTEC, MURTEC, and the NRA shows many times. Rik graduated from Susquehanna University.
In his free time, Rik enjoys exploring Colorado with his wife Kate, and two sons, Liam and Elliot through skiing, snowboarding, hiking, camping, and the occasional bluegrass festival.
